Winston Warrior Lifeology 101 Independent R&B Singer/Songwriter

Fans longing for artists who can combine the modern R&B sound with more mature and reflective vocals will appreciate [Winston’s] efforts. – SoulTracks

Winston Warrior is an amazingly driven and talented singer. His music is a creative blend of vintage R&B with modern music sensibilities. – Vince Phillips, Entertainment Attorney

Winston has put together a great album; a timeless effort that will excite true rhythm and blues fans! – Shanti Das, PressReset.me

Everyone gets burned. Sometimes so badly that it cripples you; leaves you unable to move past the pain and incapable of seeing beyond the fog. The sting that always lingers can leave you in limbo, lacking vision and wondering where to go next. It can make you forgetful, losing sight of what it was you were trying to accomplish in the first place. Or it can inspire you and provide the exact motivation needed to push you into overdrive. It can propel you forward to that place where you begin to pursue your goal with reckless abandon. This is precisely Winston Warrior’s story.

Atlanta born and truly Southern raised, Winston Warrior painfully lost his virginity to the music industry in the ‘90s. As an original member of the break-out R&B group, Lo’ Profile, Winston’s budding music career was promising and longevity was the plan. They already had two hit singles, “Missing You” and “Play Melody” on radio rotation and garnered much local industry acclaim as one of the hottest male groups in Miami and South Beach. Winston, along with his group-mates, were frequently booked as opening acts for major artists such as Mary J. Blige, Queen Latifah, Dru Hill, Soul 4 Real, and Bone Thugs N Harmony. With packed venues, a growing fanbase, and a successful audition with an influential player in the game, all of the group’s hurdles had been cleared with grace. Success, however, never comes easily and it soon became apparent how crucial a role ulterior motives had played in their achievements and the group split up as the harsh realities of the world were too great for their dream to survive.

While the collaborative dream did not make it to fruition, the ever present longing for Winston to create and fulfill his artistic goals never dissipated. He was now armed with a business degree from the University of Miami and had plenty of production and performance experience under his belt to pursue a path in marketing. Although not in the spotlight as before, success in Winston’s corporate endeavors soon followed and he was able to make new as well as retain the strong industry connections he had from his showman days. Hesitant, however, to reemerge as a musician because he had been away from the game for so long, Winston’s insecurities overshadowed his desire to sing. Fortunately, Winston’s support system was instrumental in encouraging him to reconnect with his music.

What began a year ago as Winston’s rebirth has now brought him full circle as he is once again an emerging artist. This time, however, he is wiser and in complete control of his artistic vision. No longer a teenage singer, Winston is more mature. The sound of his music harkens back to the sounds of one-name legends like Luther, Freddie, Teddy, Barry, and Donny. Winston’s music is a fusion of smooth hip hop beats and harmonic R&B themes, coined by him as “Vintage R&B”.

For Lifeology 101, Winston Warrior fashions a relatable storyboard of experiences common to all. While most of the songs’ thematic content revolves around the phases of love, the overarching message of the album is one of progression; maintaining the pursuit of your goals in spite of life’s obstacles. With the creative genius of collaborators and producers, Don Vito and Sean McMillion from Don Vito Productions, Selasi The African Kid”, Lenny Hamilton, Jr., and Trey DJ GmanThomas, as well as international special guest, SeizVres Palace, Winston Warrior reminisces on his heartbreaks, failures, achievements, and how he found closure and knowledge in every experience to become the man and artist he is today.

An avid fan of soul and R&B, Winston Warrior creates music that embraces the original sounds while honoring the contributions of the genres’ legendary figures. “Bad 4 U”, the album’s debut single epitomizes Winston’s signature style and has already garnered significant internet and satellite radio play. Pairing warm vocal tones with picturesque narration and vintage synths, Winston Warrior has created a 12 track album that showcases both his strong writing and vocal abilities. Additionally, in similar fashion to today’s most prominent indie artists and learning from lessons passed, Winston Warrior, maintains his artistic vision and takes control of the music, manufacturing, promotion, and art direction of Lifeology 101.

SUPER PRODUCER “CAVIE” IS CALLED UPON TO PRODUCE CEE LO’S NEW SOLO ALBUM

SUPER PRODUCER “CAVIE” IS CALLED UPON

TO PRODUCE CEE LO’S NEW SOLO ALBUM

World-renown engineer is staying busy in the studio

HOLLYWOOD, California (November 9, 2011)—His name is Kannon ―Caviar‖ Cross, you might not have heard of him, but chances are that if you’ve ever listened to Eazy-E, Macy Gray, or T.I. you’ve heard his work.

Cavie (as he’s better known) has been producing music since he was 12 years old, with a little known group at the time called N.W.A.. Soon after, the group blew up and so did Cavie. He has traveled around the world producing music for the biggest names in hip-hop, so it was no surprise when he got the call to produce Cee Lo Green’s new solo album.

―I’ve known Cee Lo for a long time.‖ says Cavie, ―His music is unique and he has so much talent. The way he connects with these beats is like nothing I’ve ever seen before.‖

This project is not the only album on Cavie’s plate. He recently agreed to work with Teddy Riley and another album for Macy Gray, and he’s also crafting hits for the comeback albums of Goodie Mob, T.I. and DMX.

All of Cavie’s work is done at his newly remodeled Vault Studios just off the sunset strip in the heart of Hollywood, CA.

About Cavie

Growing up in South Compton, Cavie witnessed the genesis of the gangsta rap movement firsthand. At 12 years old Cavie was blessed to be mentored by Eazy-E and DJ Train and had a chance to see legendary artists at their craft. After Eazy showed him the power of music, Cavie quit gangbanging and focused on music full time. His producing credits include some of the biggest names in the industry, and as an artist, his music has been used in national commercials, blockbuster movies, international sports promos, and top selling video games. Cavie is sponsored by PMC Ltd & KRK Systems.

MUSIC ICON “DAMIZZA” OFFERS HIS CONTROVERSIAL MEMOIR ABOUT THE MUSIC INDUSTRY FOR FREE

MUSIC ICON “DAMIZZA” OFFERS HIS CONTROVERSIAL MEMOIR ABOUT THE MUSIC INDUSTRY FOR FREE

Guilty By Association” Is The Success And Failures Of One Man’s Music Career

SANTA BARBARA, California (November 23, 2011) -- His name is Damion “Damizza” Young. You may not have heard of him but you may have heard of some careers he launched, such as Eminem & Jay-Z. Or of careers he revived, such as Snoop Dogg & Mariah Carey. After being in the music industry for more than 25 years Damizza is ready to share how his music skills brought artists to life, and how those same skills almost took his own life.

Damizza has worked in nearly every area in music but he is most recognized as a producer for hits such as “Crybaby” and “I Still Believe” by Mariah Carey. He has also produced for other renown artists such as Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, and even Korn! But all this success came with a price. His substance addictions caused his life to spin out of control.

The book is filled with candid stories, one of the most compelling is, how he managed to have Snoop Dogg perform in NY with Jay-Z just three months after Biggie’s death in hopes of squashing the East Coast/West Coast beef. Because of this, Irv Gotti credits Damizza as the person who “built a bridge” in bringing the East and West together. Some of the other intriguing stories are; his time backstage with Michael Jackson in Korea, his conversation with Biggie just hours before the star was shot, and how he single-handedly convinced Snoop and Dre to agree to “The Chronic 2001”.

The book has also led to subsequent legal issues due to a tabloid uproar concerning his romantic relationship with Mariah Carey, which was never his intent. Since then, Mariah has read the chapter that involves her and told Damion that, “she doesn’t have a problem with it.”

When asked why he felt this book was important, Damizza had this to say, “I want people to understand the truth of what they’re getting into when they’re seduced by the excess of this business. I’ve been blessed to be in the room when some of the biggest decisions in music were made, and I believe that it’s my duty to pass these stories along. What means the most for me is to show the human reality of the music business.”

Damizza also announced that he is offering the book free of charge, in order to disprove allegations that he’s doing this for profit. It is co-written by world-renown author J. Marshall Craig and will be available on December 14th through www.DamizzaBook.com

Jus Randy Official Album Release of InfoBahn

TORONTO, November 7, 2011 -
Juno nominated Jus Randy believes, “only the strongest survive is an adage that not only applies to nature, but to artists grinding in the music industry.” Determined to master the battle of adversity in the business, this November Jus Randy will prove to shine lyrically brighter than his fellow music industry competitors. Jus Randy’sInfobahnis a long awaited solo album, since his 7-year departing of Juno nominated groupBrassMunk and officially changing his name to Jus Randy. “InfoBahn” satirically comments on the use of digital communications and how human culture has become personally disconnected with the present and is living in a virtual social media matrix. Jus Randy Releases Video for "This Is War"

What does WAR mean to you?
Two nations battling for freedom? Two MCs going head-to-head in a cypher? Or possibly payback for a relationship gone down the tubes? In his new full-length video, THIS IS WAR, Jus Randy lyrically doesn't pull any punches on the competition, while the visuals tell the familiar (and hilarious) story of a love gone wrong. Check out the full-length video for THIS IS WAR HERE .
Toronto's Jus Randy has been gaining popularity as a solo artist nationally and internationally since dropping two simulataneously released singlesThis Is War and Gud Mawning featuring Ray Robinson. Though he's no stranger to creating videos, THIS IS WAR marks his first as a solo artist. Directed by Kevin "JediFM" Barton (whose film/video credits include work with Chuck Berry and Beenie Man) , the video is a great visual accessory for Jus Randy's lyrical wordplay. About working with Jus Randy, JediFM had this to say: "Jus Randy is the kind of artist directors love to work with. We discussed my initials thoughts on the concept and he trusted me enough to translate This is War into something more amusing. JR is the kind of artist who doesn't take himself too seriously and has fun with the art. This doesn’t take away from his professionalism and attention to details. It's a quality other artists in hop-hop can draw inspiration from."
Jus Randy, who is currently in the midst of a national radio tour, took time out to say this about the video: "Shooting the video was a great and fun experience. The visuals are just another example of what people get to feel and see as they get more familiar with my brand of music." The video is the ideal preparation for November 29th, 2011 when Jus Randy drops his highly anticipated mixtape/album InfoBahn.

Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Dwight spent most of his adolescence years making demos and performing at talent shows with much success. There was no doubt in Dwight’s mind that music was his calling.

The singer/songwriter stands out in a crowd with his soulful voice and dynamic vocal arrangements. Influenced by music greats such as Sam Cook, Al Green, Stevie Wonder, R Kelly and Carl Thomas just to name a few, Dwight has developed his own unique style that puts him in a league of his own.

Ray Robinson was born into a generation that is defined by music. He grew up humbly in Toronto, and discovered his ear for music at the tender age of five. Of Caribbean heritage, Ray shared the same musical upbringing of most who hail from the islands, with his fondest memories being those of listening to the soul and gospel records his Mom would play. Eventually learning to memorize the lyrics to one of his strongest influences - Micheal Jackson's Music and Me, Ray spent his childhood quietly developing his voice and feeding his growing appetite for music. When he got a little older, Ray relocated to New York where the story of turning dreams into reality began. As part of a group known as "DL" formed when Ray was just in high school, they took to the club circuit including the famous Apollo theatre in Harlem where the world would start to see the talent that permeated Ray and his group members. Discovered by Bob Waxman and Donald "Dee" Bowden (most known for his work with 90's R'n'B group SWV), the doors to a professional career in singing opened up.

In 90's, Ray decided to branch out on his own, and he moved back to his beloved Toronto, Canada where he juggled music and real life to make a living. Ray's independent approach to managing his music and business led him to create and compile the content of what became the "What It Is" album with support only from producer Kevin "Kid Kut" Keith (formerly of the Baby Blue Soundcrew, currently of X-Caliber Entourage). On his journey to self-promote the album, he met the woman who later became his manager, Gail E. Phillip of GNOTE MANAGEMENT. Armed with solid production, impeccable vocal delivery and excellent promotional support from his new management team, Ray Robinson's "What it Is" album went on to receive critical acclaim helping him to garner the 2004 (CUMA) Canadian Urban Music Award for R'n'B Recording Artist of the year. Ray Robinson along with Canadian hip-hop superstar Kardinal Offishall won 3 Much Music Videos Awards in 2006 for the single "Every Day Rude Bwoy". His past nominations include Best R'n'B Video (Much Music Video Awards 2004) for his first single Missed Your Chance, New Artist (CUMA 2004), and Favourite Urban Artist (Canadian Music Week Independent Awards 2005). His album "What It Is", received a Juno Nomination in 2004 for R&B Album of the Year.

Ray boasts a collection of tracks that have wet our palette for his unique blend of soul, gospel and straight up R'n'B with songs like : Good Times, Missed Ur Chance, Be the One, My Heart, Because of You, Girl friend, Be Alone, Summer Star, Gotta Move It, and Waiting for You. But there is much more to this multi-faceted artist whose musical influences also include Donnie Hathaway and Sam Cooke. Ray, who has a strong connection to the church and humanitarian efforts, didn't always want to be an entertainer. Having found his passion in both music and giving back to the community, look out for Ray's involvement in projects with kids in group homes and helping to keep kids off the streets.

The stage is set, and Ray is ready to open up a new musical chapter in his life, having spent a lot of time back in the studio preparing to drop new gems on us. He is poised and ready to inject new life into the R'n'B scene, so don't close your eyes for a minute. In his own words, "Nothing can stop you, but YOU". Looks like Ray's not going to let anything stop him now.

R&B Artist Duane Howard To Release EP “Blue Light”

Sep 09, 2011 - New York, NY -Almost one year after winning Hot 97 Monse's Sunday Night Showcase, Duane Howard is set to independently release his first EP October 11, 2011 entitled “Blue Light” and 1st single “Gimme Your Body” in late September which deemed Duane as the new artist to look out for.

The Hot 97 Monse's Sunday Night Showcase held November 21, 2010, was set-up similar to the very popular American Idol television series where several live performance competitions would end up with a runner up followed by one winner. The winner was to receive a meeting with E1 Records, a free music submission to Digiwax, and the opportunity to have your song professionally mixed and mastered by Tainted Blue Studios. Though E1 Records was impressed with Duane, both Duane's management and E1 agreed that Duane would need more development. “Gimme Your Body,” the song that ultimately helped Duane to win the showcase, was played several times post Duane's win and several DJ's requested the mastered material. Duane's management decided to hold off on releasing the actual song.

After quickly seeking out a powerhouse development team, the 22-year-old singer who wrote and co-produced several songs from his EP “Blue Light” is now fully ready to embark on a full fledge campaign to R&B/Pop stardom. “Blue Light” is a personal journey of melodic memoirs that signify Duane’s journey to musical success. As many relate to red as stop, green to go, and yellow to slow down, a blue light represents the luminous energy and path in which only Duane follows. Though most of the songs on Duane's EP reflect a more playful and seductive Duane Howard, the title track “Blue Light” optimally reflects that in which it is titled, while vocally expressing the passion in which only true talent can possess.

Versatile as he is talented, Duane has the ability to hypnotize people of all ages and backgrounds. His music is to be viewed as a coalescence of various experiences, times, emotions, and moods. Duane is currently in talks to sign with production and imprint label Tastemaker Music, founded by multi-platinum producer Chad Beatz. No stranger to producing hit records; Chad Beatz has produced records, singles, and remixes for: Jim Jones, Ashanti, 50 Cent, Robin Thicke, Twista, Talib Kweli, Mobb Deep, Olivia, Cassie Ventura, Tiffany Evans, Teddy Riley, Fergie, Dawn Richard, and is currently producing for and collaborating with Travis McCoy of Gym Class Heroes, Nelly, and Lupe Fiasco.

Duane Howard's single “Gimme Your Body” is set for its official release September 20, 2011 and will be available on Itunes. For additional information on Duane Howard visit www.duanehowardmusic.com.
