Legendary Bobby Womack Diagnosed with Alzheimer's is A Talent Set Back

Soul artist and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Bobby Womack is battling early signs of Alzheimer's disease sources say.

The 68 year old artist who hit big over the 50+ years in the music business with major hit songs such as, "Daylight," Across 110th Street," That's the Way I Feel About Cha," and other great songs, discussed his diagnosis with host Gilles Peterson on BBC 6.

Womack has stubbled with health issues and just earlier this year received a clean bill of health from both prostate and colon cancers. On top of it all Bobby has battled with diabetes, seizures and pneumonia.

UrbanMusicBuzz wishes that Bobby Womack gets well soon and we hope that treatment for Alzheimer's can be fully understood so this harsh disease can be prevented and wiped out with medication.

We love you , Bobby and GET WELL VERY SOON!
