Donna Summer Now Remembered Has Lost Her Battle to Cancer


Donna Summer best known as, "Disco Queen" from the 70's has passed away from her fight with cancer in Florida.

The female sensation was 63 years old and TMZ was first to report the very sad and tragic news. TMZ also reported that Donna was working on a new album weeks before she died.

Summer was born in a Christian family in Dorchester, Massachusetts which is part of Boston. This amazing Boston native has also influenced multiple artist such as Madonna, Beyonce, Michael Jackson and many more artists today.

Summer is a chart-topping Grammy -winning soul sensation with major hit songs such as, "Last Dance," "Bad Girls," "Hot Stuff" and massive hits in the 80's such as, "She Works Hard for The Money."

Donna Summer was nominated in 2010 for the induction in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but she wasn't chosen. 

Prayers go out to her whole family, her daughters Brooklyn and Amanda, as well as her husband Bruce Sudano.
