It's another sad story with the loss of another living legend Bobby Womack! The soul artist touched many hearts with multiple hit songs and was a true performer when sharing his talent live on stage.

Please listen to one of his greatest songs, "If You Think You're Lonely Now" because many of us and his fans now feel very lonely without him.

Hip-Hop Super-group eMC To Release Forthcoming EP The Turning Point on May 20 via M3/Penalty Entertainment

Listen/Share First Single "Charly Murphie"

April 16, 2014 (New York, NY) – Hip Hop Super-group eMC announces the release of their forthcoming EP The Turning Point via M3/Penalty Entertainment/RED on May 20. Formed in 2007, eMC is comprised of four lyricists including the Milwaukee born phenom Stricklin, the widely respected NYC duo and “Lyricist Lounge” emcees Punchline & Wordsworth and the legendary Brooklyn-bred and former Juice Crew member Masta Ace.

The Turning Point will be available for pre-order on May 6, and fans who purchase the EP in advance will receive the lead single “Charly Murphie” as an instant grat track on iTunes.  Produced by Detroit's own 14KT and featuring Agallah Don Bishop (8-Off the Assassin), “Charlie Murphie” is eMC's antithesis response to the current trend of radio friendly songs being named after famous individuals. Masta Ace explains “ Charly Murhpie epitomizes the hardcore, aggressive, punch in the nose mentality which is a stark contrast to those other songs.”

In various skits, The Turning Point takes the listener through the group’s decision to record a new album after almost 6 years.  Reminiscent of John Belushi's character in “The Blues Brothers,” Masta Ace calls each member asking them if they are interested in reuniting. The result is a 6-song offering with stand out tracks “Stay Busy” featuring and produced by newcomer Pav Bundy, and “Verified” featuring Birmingham England sensation Lady Leshurr. The title track “Turning Point” features east coast crooner Range Da Messenga, as well as production from UK's very own Quincey Tones.

eMC will release the video for “Charlie Murphie” next month and plans to tour the US and Europe this summer, as well as Canada later this year.

THE BIOGRAPHY OF eMC:

Great rhymes plus great beats equals great music! This is the formula that any hip-hop artist truly dedicated to their craft should choose to live by. The hip-hop world is constantly looking for a breath of fresh air. Well hip-hop fans need to look no further. Take a deep breath, inhale and become intoxicated by the sounds of the super-group eMC!

Formed in 2007, eMC is comprised of four spectacular lyricists: the Milwaukee born phenom Stricklin, the widely respected NYC duo and “Lyricist Lounge” emcees Punchline & Wordsworth and the legendary Brooklyn-bred, former Juice Crew member Masta Ace.

The Wisconsin native Stricklin made noise in the late 90’s when he was signed to Tommy Boy Records and was featured on several of the labels releases. Punchline & Wordsworth released an EP in 2000 and were both integral in the success of the groundbreaking MTV program “The Lyricist Lounge Show”. Wordsworth would later release a solo LP in 2004 entitled “Mirror Music”. These three talented artists obviously caught the ear of Masta Ace because he went on to feature them all on two of his own albums.

What makes this group so special is that its formation spawned as a result of the request of the fans. Having toured extensively with Ace since 2001, Stricklin, Punchline, and Wordsworth all became very close after realizing how natural their chemistry together was. The fans recognized this chemistry as well and often asked if there was a group album planned in the future. Well in 2008 that question was answered emphatically when the quartet released their critically acclaimed debut album “The Show” on M3/Traffic Entertainment.

“The Show” was an instant classic among hip-hop purists around the world and it's great reception lead to eMC being established as one of the elite groups within the underground rap realm. After three years of extensive touring from 2006-2008, the group's members branched off to re-establish their solo careers. Punchline released his powerful debut album “Underground Superstar” with Germany's own DJ Soul Clap in 2012. The brilliant Wordsworth dropped his second solo effort “The Photo Album” in June of 2012. Masta Ace teamed up with rap veteran Edo G in 2009 to release “Arts & Entertainment” followed by an album released in 2012 dedicated to his late mother entitled “Son of Yvonne” which featured songs exclusively written over MF DOOM beats.

Finally, the Four Brothers have reunited with their new EP “The Turning Point”, which is set to be released on M3/Penalty Entertainment/Sony Red in the spring of 2014. Prompted by a phone call from Penalty Entertainment's CEO Neil Levine, this six song offering takes the listener through the group members' decision to do a new album after almost 6 years. Reminiscent of John Belushi's character in “The Blues Brothers”, Masta Ace calls each group member one by one asking if they are interested in getting together once more. The EP serves as a precursor to their full length LP scheduled to be released later this year.

The lead off single “Charly Murphie”, which has very little to do with the famous actor/comedian brother of Eddie Murphy, features Agallah Don Bishop (8-Off the Assassin) and stands as eMC's reaction to the current trend of radio friendly songs named after famous individuals. Masta Ace explains, ”There are so many of these songs out there named after famous people and most of them aren't any good.  Charly Murphie, produced by Detroit's own 14KT, epitomizes the hardcore, aggressive, punch in the nose mentality which is a stark contrast to those other songs.  Who are you taking in a fight Justin Bieber or Charlie Murphy?”

The “Charly Murphie” single and video hit the internet on iTunes in early April and are part of a brilliantly produced EP full of stand out songs including “Stay Busy”, produced by and featuring talented new comer Pav Bundy, “Verified” featuring the Birmingham, England female sensation, Lady Leshurr and the the title track “Turning Point” featuring east coast crooner Range Da Messenga as well as production from UK's very own Quincey Tones.

This EP will have eMC's core fans salivating for the full length album which will consist of 12-14 additional tracks. Their first tour rolls out this May with a trip to Europe and the group expects to tour in the states, Canada and possibly Australia before closing out the end of this year.

Justin Bieber Videotaped Deposition Like You’ve Never Seen Him … And It’s Bad

Justin Bieber can be insulting, arrogant, snotty, ignorant and disrespectful ... and all in one sitting -- because that's exactly what he was like during his deposition last week in the lawsuit where his bodyguard allegedly beat up a photog.

TMZ obtained a copy of the entire 4 1/2 hour, videotaped depo ... and it's just unreal.  We've boiled it down to what we think are the best 4 clips.

1.  ARROGANT BIEBER -- He just can't hide his contempt for the photog's lawyer, and it comes out in pretty awful ways.  We put some snippets together and you'll get the idea.  It represents his attitude throughout the depo.

2.  LOVESICK BIEBER -- Selena Gomez is clearly a hot button, because when the lawyer asks about her, everyone goes nuclear.  Bieber eventually rips his mic off and he and his lawyer storm out.

3.  CONTENTIOUS BIEBER -- He compares his interrogation to being grilled by Katie Couric or "60 MInutes."  Simply hilarious.

4.  DISRESPECTFUL BIEBER -- When asked if Usher discovered him, Bieber disses his mentor and says he was actually discovered on YouTube.  The best part ... he clearly was trying to say he himself was instrumental in his success, but instead he says, "I was detrimental to my own career."
Truer words have never been spoken.
