Matisyahu's Live At Stubb's Vol. II Documentary Set to Be Screened at SXSW Film Festival
Matisyahu's documentary from the recently released live DVD Live at Stubb's Vol. II will be screened at this year's SXSW Film Festival, which kicks off March 11th in Austin, TX. Dubbed Run and Return and directed by Michael Thelin and Jose Louis Rios, this short documentary features Matisyahu's thoughtful reflections on his creative philosophy, celebrated career and musical synergy with his band Dub Trio, who also share their thoughts on their unique musical partnership with Matisyahu. The behind-the-scenes footage, filmed while on tour in the summer of 2010, captures the Grammy-nominated artist as he prepares to return to the famed music venue Stubb's in Austin, TX, to record Live at Stubb's Vol. II. The live CD/DVD, just released February 1st , is the second installment in his signature Live at Stubb's series.
After creating an indelible mark on the U.S. musical consciousness with his original 2005 Live at Stubb's release, Matisyahu has once again created a raw, inspiring musical journey filled with an unmatched vibrancy and electricity on stage. With Live at Stubb's Vol. II bringing his Stubb's experience full circle, the rare documentary footage shows incredible moments from that live show and serves as a look inside the impressive artistic evolution of one of the most beloved and pioneering artists in music today.
Live at Stubb's Vol. II is available now in stores and online in three formats: CD, DVD with documentary footage and a Deluxe Edition, which includes the CD/DVD and a 40-page booklet featuring an exclusive letter from Matisyahu, never-before-seen notes and song lyrics and photos chronicling the recording of Live at Stubb's Vol. II and other amazing performances from the past three years.

Hip Hop Sensation & Artist Hollywood Smoove Makes Noise.
In a time where West Coast Hip-Hop is often criticized, even from legendary Left Coast rappers, one artist is ready to show the world that he can make a difference.
Born in Compton, L.A., experiencing the hard knock life on a daily basis, the aspiring and multi talented rapper/producer Hollywood Smoove, born William Kidwell, started his professional rap career as a member of Enemy Of The State (EOS), a Hip-Hip group consisting of 3 members all representing California from L.A. to the Bay. EOS released its first and only release in 2006 with the album “I Like It Like That” which was well received among Hip-Hop fans around the world.
The success of EOS spawned Hollywood Smoove to begin working on his own solo project, the highly anticipated album “Holla at’cha Mac”, which is due to be released early 2011. As a member of EOS, Smoove had gotten a lot of attention as a true lyricist with his clever punch lines and also as a electrifying performer who can rock in front of any crowd. Smoove earned his name by being himself, from his delivery on the mic as well as his way with the ladies. Smoove loves to interact with fans of his music and he is constantly trying to improve and become a better artist at all times.
Hip-Hop executives and media outlets have already drawn comparisons between West Coast heavyweight Snoop Dogg and East Coast rhymespitter Fabolous for Hollywood Smoove’s laid back style and attitude as he simply put it: “My style is real versatile -- it’s something you can bob your head to, even if you don’t feel it.”
Hollywood Smoove’s current single is titled “Do the MAC” that was just released but it’s already garnering heavy attention in the clubs. This song is based on the new dance called “Mac Walk” created by Smoove and his crew Playa Lane. “Mac Walkin” is becoming the new dance craze and its popularity continues to grow. As Smoove says, “It’s a swag… not your regular two step, it’s a new step.”
Hollywood Smoove is currently signed under the LA-based label Dolphins of Hollywood, which is distributed by Bungalo Records/Univerisal Music Group.
