Toronto, Ontario (September 26, 2012) – Actress Tonya Lee Williams plays "Donna Berg" on Cybergeddon, a new feature-length project by CSI creator Anthony Zuiker. Cybergeddon is being released on Yahoo! Screen in nine parts – three parts per day for three days – from September 25 to 27, 2012. The online webisodes are expected to be available on 50 million screens in more than 25 countries.
"It's a wonderful experience to work on features made specifically for an online experience. I understand Yahoo! also premiered Tom Hanks' animated series, Electric City," Williams said.
Cybergeddon revolves around a female government agent (Missy Peregrym, Rookie Blues) who, while on the run from the law herself, is pursuing a master hacker (Olivier Martinez) bent on bringing the world to its cyber-knees. Williams plays the Head of the FBI Cyber-Terrorism department, "Donna Berg".
Williams is best known for her work as "Dr. Olivia Winters" on Young and the Restless. In addition to acting in Cybergeddon this summer, she also worked on Lifetime's Imperfect Justice with Rob Lowe and she recently wrapped filming on Empire of Dirt, a feature produced by Jennifer Podemski. When Williams is not in front of the screen, she is behind it as the Founder and Executive Director of ReelWorld Film Festival, an initiative based in Canada that she is very proud of. The five day festival showcases world-class cinema – dramas, documentaries, shorts, even music videos. It enters its 13th year in April 2013 and focuses on works that reflect diversity or are by emerging and established artists from Aboriginal, Asian, Black, Latino, Middle Eastern, South Asian and other racially diverse backgrounds. "It's a lot of work, but very rewarding. My festival focuses on showcasing great film and on giving emerging diverse talent access to the mainstream world of the entertainment industry," Williams added. When asked if she would return to Young and the Restless, Williams responded: "Of course. Y&R has always been good to me - I love the character Olivia and still feel there is a lot of life left in her". Tonya Lee Williams as Donna Berg

FILM LEGENDS OBBA BABATUNDE AND TINY LISTER BRING THE HEAT AND SUSPENSE TO NEW HORROR FILM, THE TRAP DOOR
Obba Babatunde and Tiny Lister are two of the hottest African American Actors of 2011 with their respective careers reflective of their nonstop demand for work in some of the top films in Hollywood. Since Lister hit the circuit as Zeus in the World Wrestling Federation, he has become one of America’s favorite character actors starring in box office hits back to back including his unforgettable performance as Deebo in Friday with Ice Cube, Chris Tucker and Nia Long and his work in the box office blockbuster, The Dark Knight.
From Soul Food,Introducing Dorothy Dandridge to Warner Brother’s All Star Superman,Babatunde’s skills as an actor show his ability to crossover from Film to TV to Theater with the grace and ease of a man born with the innate gifts to act.
As we approach the Fall season in network television awaiting the new schedule of shows to be launched, we also enter the season of Horror film releases throughout America with the true die hard fans of terror and horror awaiting the next blockbuster of this highly popular genre.
After reviewing the trailer of the new horror film,THE TRAP DOOR,it is apparent that the casting of box office favorites, Babatunde and Lister, together in this film is indicative of the genius on the part of the Production Team as their character portrayals in the promo trailer show their work as intense and sure to be riveting in the full length experience of the film along with the supporting cast members all of which as a whole flows seamlessly into a suspense driven piece sure to capture movie goers attention throughout America.
Paul and Kennedy Goldsby at the helm of the production of the project are by no means strangers to the film world. Their previous original works Haitian Nights and Roscoes House of Chicken show their mutual intuition as producers to inherently know and bring out the correct sense of what is current as well as their keen ability and intuition of how to grab the attention of the current urban market and the foresight of where it needs to evolve.
With the finesse of Babatunde and Lister on screen THE TRAP DOOR, it is no wonder that the film in its pre release has garnered BEST VILLAIN, BEST HORROR FILM, and BEST SPECIAL EFFECTS nominations in a recent L.A. based film festival. With the film’s promotional campaign underway, it is sure to be a contender as one of the top horror films of 2011 as a result of superb casting and outright clever production. From the looks of trailer of THE TRAP DOOR, it is definitely urban as well as crossover in terms of its overall look and feel thanks to the genius and insight of its production team.
From Freddy Kruger’s A NIGHTMARE ON ELMSTREET to TWILIGHT, the horror genre has continually evolved its look and presentation to expand its “flavors” from hardcore to subtle horror thanks to the innovation of brilliant producers and directors who understand the unlimited potential of this select genre. THE TRAP DOOR maintains the essence of classic horror with the current infusion of Twilightesque suspense as the story evolves around the journey of a group of strangers who meet Babatunde and Lister who set the surprise trap for their possible destiny.
As for Paul and Kennedy Goldsby, they are to horror film making as Oliver Stone is to movie making. Modern trailblazers. As for THE TRAP DOOR , it is sure to put them in the category of hitmakers.
