On Thursday, December 23, 2010, Mayhem the Don will be hosting his Record Release Party for Diary of Hustle Simmons at Toons Nightclub in downtown San Jose, California. It will be a great show for a greater cause. Mayhem will be giving back to his community by using a portion of the proceeds to purchase toys from the children’s wish list this Christmas at the San Jose Family Shelter (1590 Las Pumas Avenue, San Jose 95133).

This philanthropic endeavor is a significant illustration of how Mayhem is contributing to the construction of a better world for those going through tough times. “It’s important for the children to feel the joy of the holiday season, even for one day.” says Mayhem who had family members who found refuge in this shelter.

Innovative music on Diary of Hustle Simmons tells of Mayhem the Don’s past struggles evolving to his present triumphs, a story of inspiration and beating the odds, including Anything Goes 2010, Cut From A Different Cloth and Can’t Top My Fresh. This local South San Jose artist sees his music as a representation of the aggressive advancements of the Silicon Valley as well as the necessary progressiveness to further Hip Hop music on the West Coast.
